  • e-Access II: The e-Access II project intends to train people with disabilities by providing them with accessible e-training resources and courses. There are three categories of people with disabilities for this project and are, respectively: People with low vision, people with color blindness and people with motor disability. Only, e-training resources and courses are shown for the first two categories of people with disabilities.
  • ESP-T: The ESP-T project aims to help therapeutic professionals improve their English vocabulary skills for their professions. One of five modules of the project is designed for visually impaired massage therapists. Although there is not still an official website of this project, there is a discussion forum, which is presented below.

  • Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired (TSBVI): The Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired is a public school for students with a visual impairment and also provides a variety of instructional resources for parents and professionals who serve students with a visual impairment. Although TSBVI is developed in the USA, it still can benefit parents, professionals and visually impaired people, who live in Europe.

  • British Computer Association of the Blind Web Site (BCAB): BCAB is an organization of visually impaired people and aims to help them use Information and Communications Technology (ICT). There are training digital courses for visually impaired people and these are related to computers. For instance, visually impaired people can learn how to use Windows XP or Outlook Express or Excel or the Internet. All the courses are purchasable.

  • eVision55+: The eVision55+ project intends to train people above the age of 55 with decreasing eyesight how to gain knowledge of age-related eye conditions and to live independently and to enjoy much-loved activities. One of its training courses is MyVision. MyVision appears to be interesting for visually impaired users.

  • ENVITER: ENVITER stands for European Network Visually Impaired Training Education Research. ENVITER is a European program and is a must for visually impaired people, because it contains interesting training projects such as evision+55. ENVITER also benefits professionals who serve visually impaired people.
