- 4 barramundi fillets
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1 cup bread crumbs- dried
- 1/2 teaspoon seafood seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- 1 pinch thyme – dried
- 1 cup butter – melted
- 1/4 cup white wine
- ¼ cup lemon juice
- Freshly chopped basil (according to taste)
Directions to make
Barramundi fish can be cooked perfectly by baking. Preheat the oven to 190 degree C. Glaze the fish fillets with some olive oil. In a bowl, put bread crumbs, seafood seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, lemon zest, and mix them together. Put the fish in this mixture and coat your fish from all sides.
Place the fish on a baking sheet and cook in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Flip the fish and continue baking for another 10 minutes. In a separate bowl, mix white wine, lemon juice, basil and butter together. Place the cooked fish on a plate and glaze it with the lemon basil sauce.
